Chloe O'Brian FINALLY Takes Charge
Chloe O'Brian (played by Mary Lynn Rajskub) is definitely the most beloved character on 24, aside from the lead Jack Bauer. The computer analyst joined the cast of the show during season three, as nothing more than an annoying burden. However, as the show progressed, Jack and Chloe learned to get along and Chloe became one of Jack's most trusted characters. As the show progressed Chloe went from being small part time character, to the one of the leads. Now that the show is finally ending, Chloe has proved herself as such a useful character that the White House made her the head of CTU. While I was very excited to see Chloe take charge, I honestly didn't know if she could take on the role. Chloe has always worked behind the scenes and seems like an introvert so I thought she could crack under the pressure. But, in her first minutes as Head of CTU, Chloe proved herself to be one of the best I have ever seen, making the wisest decisions, and being a great leader. She demonstrated this when she ordered the primary toxicology report on the diseased terrorist. While Agent Cole Ortiz disagreed and said that they would find out during the autopsy, Chloe insisted and it turned out that was a wise decison because they discovered he was killed with injection. Chloe will take reigns as one of the best Heads of CTU ever seen on the show, simple because of her years of intense experience in the organization.

Well, since I haven't watched this show since season 1 and from there got hooked on Prison Break instead, a bad decision looking back, I don't know this character. It sounds like she is vital to the show and is doing a good job though.
