Allison Taylor's Mistake
Charles Logan’s evil self has made reappearance in the final season of 24. When we last saw him he was working for terrorists, while also serving as President of the United States- I know, you can’t get much lower than that. He was exposed in the end of season 5 by his wife, Martha Logan (one of my favorite 24 characters of all time) as the terrorist to the public and in turn locked away in prison. It has been informed that he was pardoned by his predecessor and that he is now on track to trying to fix his reputation. Of course being the evil monster that he is, he will find evil ways to get his reputation back. He has made a deal with current President Allison Taylor that if she can repair his reputation, he will help her get the peace accords back on track, which were recently lost in the last few episodes. Taylor made a mistake trusting Logan, because he will probably be exposed for doing dirty work in the season and bring her good reputation plunging down with him. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens in the final hours of 24.

What's up with Arlo?
Arlo Glass has been a very mysterious character in this season of 24. He started out as just a computer analysis, but the audience could tell he had a major role coming. However, 18 hours have already passed and he has done little more than flirt with fellow coworker, Dana Walsh. He has proved to the audience that he isn’t a good guy, but for some reason I feel like he still gives off the “mole” quality seen in previous CTU moles. I feel like there may be a twist in the future, in the last few episodes, where Arlo has been working for the bad guys all along. If not, I feel like his presence on the show has been unnecessary. I look forward to seeing what becomes of him during the final hours.

RIP Renee Walker
Renee Walker has played a very significant role in Jack’s life during the television show, 24. While she has only been on the show for two seasons, she has had more impact on Jack than almost any other character on the hit Fox show. While Jack has had several love interests after the death of his wife, including Walker and Audrey Raines, Renee has definitely caught Jack’s interest most of all. On last week’s episode, she and Jack made love, which is very rare on any season of 24. However, right after the sexual act took place, Renee was shot and killed by a sniper, through the window of Jack’s apartment. The once FBI special agent was rushed to the hospital by a frantic Jack, but it was too late. Now Jack is on a mission to avenge his love interest’s death, and serve justice as to whoever killed Renee. No one should mess with Jack when he’s upset, and believe me, Jack is pissed.

Chloe O'Brian FINALLY Takes Charge
Chloe O'Brian (played by Mary Lynn Rajskub) is definitely the most beloved character on 24, aside from the lead Jack Bauer. The computer analyst joined the cast of the show during season three, as nothing more than an annoying burden. However, as the show progressed, Jack and Chloe learned to get along and Chloe became one of Jack's most trusted characters. As the show progressed Chloe went from being small part time character, to the one of the leads. Now that the show is finally ending, Chloe has proved herself as such a useful character that the White House made her the head of CTU. While I was very excited to see Chloe take charge, I honestly didn't know if she could take on the role. Chloe has always worked behind the scenes and seems like an introvert so I thought she could crack under the pressure. But, in her first minutes as Head of CTU, Chloe proved herself to be one of the best I have ever seen, making the wisest decisions, and being a great leader. She demonstrated this when she ordered the primary toxicology report on the diseased terrorist. While Agent Cole Ortiz disagreed and said that they would find out during the autopsy, Chloe insisted and it turned out that was a wise decison because they discovered he was killed with injection. Chloe will take reigns as one of the best Heads of CTU ever seen on the show, simple because of her years of intense experience in the organization.

Anticipation for Tonight's Episode
As viewers mourned President Hassan's murder at the end of last weeks episode, we were left with a new problem in the show. The reason that Hassan's murder was such a big deal is because the peace agreement between the United States and the Islamic Republic is now almost certaintly not going to happen. However, in preview for tonights episode we see that President Allison Taylor finds help in getting the peace agreement to happen in an unlikely place: former President Charles Logan. Logan was one of the worst examples of a bad cop: as the corruptness trickled all the way up to the presidency. In season 5 of 24 President Logan was found working for terrorists "for the good of the country." In the finale he was exposed by his wife, Martha Logan (one of my favorite characters in all of 24) exposed him in front of a press conference for being evil and called him a "monster." We last saw these two characters in season 6 as they made a cameo, and Martha Logan subsequently stabbed her ex husband in the shoulder blade. He is now shown on tonights episode offering Allison Taylor help. Will he have evil motives? Will he actually use his Russian allies to get the peace agreement? We will find out on tonight's episode tonight at 9/8 central on Fox.

Nina Myers: The Sequel
As any avid fan would agree, Nina Myers is probably one of the most hated characters in all of the 8 seasons of Fox's hit drama, 24. She worked in CTU during season one, as a very close ally to Jack Bauer, and even romantically involved with him at one point. However, at the end of the season, the turned out to be a mole and ended up aiding the terrorists and killing the lead character's wife. This season 24 has a new Nina: Dana Walsh. While the computer analyst seemed like nothing more with a smart girl, with a rocky past, we were very wrong. She ended up being the mole of CTU for the season, and even played one of the lead field agents Cole Ortiz (played by Freddie Prince Jr.) and almost got him to marry her. She ended up killing several people and only did it for one thing: money. The directors found a way to make the audience learn to hate Dana in only a few episodes. She has now turned into one of the most heartless villains ever seen in 24. In the next few episodes we will find out what unfolds with Dana and see what becomes of the nasty traitor. Remember to watch 24 tonight at 9/8 central on Fox.
